Allan trained as an Actor at The Royal Conservatoire for Scotland (formerly RSAMD), graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts, and has since gone on to work in Television and Theatre in the UK.In 2011 Allan toured the USA with the two-man play “To Kill a Kelpie”. Reprising the role in 2012 for performances in San Diego and Off-Broadway in New York, where the play had been selected by Creative Scotland to be performed as part of the NYC Tartan celebrations.Allan first began writing and performing stand up comedy in 2011 on the London open-mic scene and has since gigged all over Scotland and parts of England. In 2013 and 2014 Allan was a finalist in the Scottish Comedian of the Year, and also performed in the “Best of Scottish Comedian of the Year” shows at the Glasgow Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
