Who's performing?

Friday 2nd December

Nathan Caton

Multi award-winning comedian Nathan Caton has been active on the UK comedy circuit since the tender age of 19. He excels in combining both personal, confessional material with up-to-date social and political anecdotes. This has won him numerous credits and plaudits over the years and has made him one of the hottest rising young stars on the circuit.

Gus Lymburn

Gus Lymburn burst onto the comedy scene in 2006. Since then he’s been charming and disturbing audiences in equal measure (don’t be fooled by the cheeky chappie demeanour, behind the puppy dog eyes lurks a sick mind). Never one to take a standard approach to his stand up, Gus’s act can – and has – incorporated a range of props from noodles to a burka, and on one occasion in a routine described by the Evening News as ‘the act of a desperate man’ – a can of squirty cream. He has even sustained a cracked rib when a mock stage fight with a fellow comic got out of hand.

Gary Meikle

Gary is an up and coming comedian from Glasgow.  After his first gig, early in 2013, Gary caught the comedy bug and has been progressing up the comedy ladder ever since.  In his first year on the circuit had moved from doing five minute open spots in front of ten people to performing at some of the premier comedy clubs around the UK.  He also made it through to the Scottish Comedian Of The Year Semi-Final where he was beaten by Eventual winner.

5th Avenue

The 5th Avenue band is based in Aberdeen and has been performing exciting, floor-filling live music for over 16 years.  They are highly regarded as the most well-respected live band in the North of Scotland.

The band performs a tightly rehearsed set including a wide selection of songs from the 1960s right up to the latest chart hits.  The band’s repertoire ranges from early Rock ‘n’ Roll, Motown, Soul, Disco and Pop, making the band’s setlist the ultimate live music event.

Saturday 3rd December

Rob Rouse

Since winning Channel Four's prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny?' Competition at the Edinburgh Festival in 1998, an award previously won by Phil Kay, Dylan Moran, Lee Mack, Tommy Tiernan and Peter Kay, Rob has been a regular performer at major venues on both the London and National circuit.

Billy Kirkwood

Billy first burst into stand up in 2005 and has quickly established himself as one of Scottish comedy's most up and coming young acts with an ever expanding, cult following, thanks to his Unique yet slightly surreal style of storytelling, likeable on-stage presence, energetic on stage performances, near non existent attention span, and is widely regarded as a must see act that leaves audiences sore with laughter.

Mark Nelson

Since winning the inaugural Scottish Comedian of the Year Award in 2006, barely a year after his first-ever open-spot, Mark Nelson’s mix of dark humour, cutting observations and superb one-liners has seen him firmly established as one of the UK’s biggest-hitting comedy powerhouses.
