Ticket information
Liam Farrelly is a scottish comedy sensation that recently made an appearance on BBC's Live at The Apollo.
Liam embarked on his comedic journey at a young age, starting at 17 while still in High School. His rapid ascent in the comedy scene led to numerous award nominations and wins. Notably, he made a guest appearance on BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad and has graced the stages of renowned comedy clubs like Breakneck Comedy Club & Hot Water Comedy Club in Liverpool, and the esteemed Comedy Stores in London and Manchester—all within a year of his debut.
Liam's comedic style revolves around personal anecdotes, particularly drawn from his unique family dynamics. With relatives ranging from nuns to a parent with MS who humorously embraces self-deprecation, his storytelling is both relatable and engaging. Critics have praised his self-referential humor and personal narratives, noting a captivating blend of wit and authenticity in his performances.
"Self-referential asides and personal material… there’s a funny and interesting spark here" Chortle
"Frighteningly young first act Liam Farrelly is going to have to get used to the Kevin Bridges comparisons or have elocution lessons… it was apparent that this was a young man with natural storytelling talent… Impressive stuff that earned Farrelly the runner-up spot fans" Beyond The Joke
Matt Black from the Highlands started 2022 off with his first gig on Zoom. From there it has been onwards and upwards, taking his observations on Dad's and dog's around the Scottish Comedy Circuit, even featuring in the Edinburgh Fringe.
The man from Montrose Scott Forbes is now the resident MC at Breakneck Comedy Club and has fast become an audience favourite. From observations to impressions, his straight to the point quick wit humour always has the audience in raptures. In 2019 he supported Gary Meikle on a number of tour dates and also had his first successful sold out show “Adulting” at Glasgow international Comedy Festival.
“Rapid fire natural delivery” Evening Express
“He gets you quick and once he does it’s machine gun laughter all the way “ Gary Meikle
