Born in Japan, adopted and raised in New Jersey. He was a Sergeant in the US Army and then moved to the UK and worked in advertising before starting a career in stand-up and acting in 2010.
He regularly performs at comedy clubs across the UK and Europe. And recently toured Dubai opening for Ahmed Ahmed.

Aberdeen-based comedian and writer Steve Johnson first set foot on stage in 2024, making an immediate splash in the entertainment industry being described by Breakneck Comedy as “One of the fasted rising stars of the North East comedy circuit”.
Steve is a one to watch for the future.
After taking some time away from breakneck comedy club due to "motivational issues", he's back and the same level as before! "Greatest living comedian!
